In this podcast, I join CFAX’s Mark Brennie discussing the branding of the Canadian political story. This conversation was inspired (in a non-inspiring way) by a recent story in the New York Times describing the culture of ignorance and secrecy descending on Parliament Hill. Has this attitude of playing it hyper-safe killed the story told by Canada’s incumbent Conservatives? And are the Liberals and NDP just as guilty of killing their storytelling in order to toe the pollster line?
